Care Home Refurbishment

Alterations and refurbishments to the main Residential Wing of a large care home involving eight bedrooms, associated en-suite bathrooms, and communal areas including the main lounge and dining area. Many areas of the Dementia Wing were also refurbished, along with various other specific areas around the building. This challenging project in a live care environment was delivered well ahead of schedule despite additional works being added to the contract by our delighted client.

  • Soft strip and demolition
  • Structural alterations and steelwork installations
  • Reconfiguration of void space to create new bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms
  • M&E Package including completion of design
  • Nurse Call systems, Door Entry systems, Fire Alarm works and Air-Conditioning
  • Creation of disabled facilities such as assisted bathrooms and shower rooms complete with associated Doc M requirements
  • Refurbishment of all dining rooms throughout the building including formation of new servery areas
  • Internal finishes including Dementia friendly colour schemes
  • Facilitation of interior design, working with consultants to create vibrant new spaces to lift the mood of the entire care home
  • New external windows and doors
  • Creation of communal patio area and mood garden.
